Last Wednesday saw the release of Crazy Rich Asians, the cinematic adaptation of Kevin Kwan's novel of the same name, as well as the first Hollywood production to star an all-Asian cast in over two decades. Along with exceeding its commercial expectations, the movie has been met with widespread critical praise, and it has a lot of celebrities in its corner. Over the last few days, folks in the entertainment industry have been dishing out praise for Crazy Rich Asians, like Chris Pratt, who commended the movie while simultaneously taking a subtle shot at the two movies he's starred in this year, Avengers: Infinity War and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Aquaman director James Wan dropped even more praise on Crazy Rich Asians, noting how nice it was to see a whole cast that looked like him in a Hollywood movie for the first time, and he made sure to compliment actors Constance Wu, Henry Golding and Michelle Yeoh, and well as director John M. Chu, in a follow-up tweet.

Over in the music industry, pop star Justin Bieber let his followers know to catch Crazy Rich Asians in theaters, and also congratulated John M. Chu on the finished product.

Back in acting land, Ocean's 8 star Mindy Kaling congratulated Crazy Rich Asians for its theatrical performance after five days, noting how it combined two of her favorite things.
