It is easy to lose yourself in the sheer number of music biopics that already exist or are currently in development. Having said that, every now and then we find one that really piques our interest. That is the case for the upcoming Elton John biopic, Rocketman, and it looks like the long-awaited film has become even more intriguing with the official casting of Kingsman: The Secret Service star Taron Egerton as the music icon.

Per a report from Deadline, Taron Egerton has officially signed on to play Elton John in Rocketman. The actor has been incredibly vocal about his desire to take on the part in recent months and after much speculation it looks like he has finally signed on the dotted line. This development comes after a recent change which saw Egerton step in for The Revenant actor Tom Hardy, who was initially set to portray the beloved singer.

Directed by Eddie the Eagle's Dexter Fletcher, Rocketman will aim to take a look at Elton John's life beyond the glitz and glamor. The film will follow him through his early years as an aspiring musician, and track his ascent to stardom, chronicling the trials and tribulations that occurred along the way and detailing the long-standing musical partnership he's had with songwriter Bernie Taupin. Weirdly enough, this is far from the only silver screen connection shared by Taron Egerton and Elton John, as the two both previously appeared in Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which debuted in theaters last year. The movie is being produced by Vaughn, John and David Furnish, and the script has been written by Lee Hall. Production on the biopic is expected to being this summer.

Of course, those of you who have kept up with Taron Egerton's career over the last few years likely already know that he could easily step into a role like this. In fact, the Kingsman star generated quite a bit of enthusiasm in 2016 when he provided the vocals for Johnny in Illumination's Sing and actually got a chance to sing his own version of an Elton John classic. Taron Egerton clearly has the chops to deliver an Elton John track in animation form. Now, it is a matter of waiting to see if he can do the same while actually playing the singer in live-action.

Spoilers ahead for Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame arrived in theaters over a month ago, and the spoiler ban has been lifted for almost as long. As such, the fans have been able to discuss and dissect every single frame in The Russo Brothers' blockbuster, including the wild ending. Moviegoers were able to watch as countless characters team up for the final battle against Thanos, as well as Tony Stark's sacrifice to wipe the Mad Titan out once and for all.

In the wake of Tony's death, we were treated to his funeral scene at the lake house he shared with Pepper and Morgan. The MCU's biggest characters (and some surprise cameos) graced the screen, and now Spider-Man actor Tom Holland has shared a video from the set of that emotional scene. Turns out the mood wasn't so somber on set, check it out:

Tom Holland may have gotten a reputation for spoiling the events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but this time he wasn't the only culprit. Plenty of Earth's Mightiest Heroes were filming their own videos during Tony's funeral scene. Luckily, none of them got leaked ahead of the blockbuster's release.

It looks like Tom Holland was given the same rights to his phone as the rest of the Avengers: Endgame cast. So when he, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, and Mark Ruffalo started recording, there was strength in numbers. But they did end up getting yelled at eventually, and quickly put their respective phones away in order to work on the film's emotional finale.

While Tom Holland was able to snag a quick video on the set of Avengers: Endgame, he wasn't given the same access to scripts as everyone else. In fact, he was only given his lines, in order to try and avoid a potential spoiler situation. And when it came to Tony's funeral scene, The Russo Brothers didn't even tell him that's what the scene was ahead of time. He thought it was going to be a wedding scene. Womp womp.

Tony Stark's funeral was a gut punch of a scene, as Pepper and Morgan put his "heart" out to sea alongside countless familiar faces from the MCU. Each franchise was represented, with a long shot featuring the formerly dusted characters alongside the heroes who helped bring them to life. The entire shared universe bowed their heads to give Iron Man the respect he deserved, especially after he snagged the Infinity Stones and snapped Thanos out of existence for good.

It should be interested to se what other videos end up coming from the set of Avengers: Endgame as time goes on. The cast started sharing clips as soon as the spoiler ban was lifted, and they'd be able to get chatty without any repercussions. So it was only a matter of time before Tom Holland followed suit.

Dakota Johnson Trained To Dance For Suspiria While Filming Fifty Shades Freed

Dakota Johnson finished up her time as the face of the Fifty Shades franchise earlier this year, and now she is branching out for two of fall's most intriguing films. One of those films, Suspiria, required the actress to learn to dance, and it turns out that training required so much training that she needed to do it while still filming Fifty Shades Freed. She recently, explained,

I trained on and off for about a year before we started filming, but I'm not a professional dancer. It was terrifying.

Even on and off, a year is a lot of time to put into something before the cameras even begin to roll, and I imagine training to dance while also focusing on her performance in Fifty Shades Freed had to be especially taxing. As Dakota Johnson told Entertainment Weekly, she's not a professional dancer, but the film basically requires her to look like one so that amount of work was necessary.

Luca Guadagnino's remake of Suspiria sees Dakota Johnson's character Susie Bannion accepted into a prestigious Berlin dance academy. She slowly begins to discover the evil lurking beneath the glamour, but that's simultaneous with her rise to be one the most prestigious students in her class. Johnson needed to be great at dancing and performing the film's choreography to convincingly play the role, and that took a whole lot of dedication.

Part of that involved a big dance scene in front of an actual audience - which apparently terrified Dakota Johnson. Given the revealing nature of the Fifty Shades films, you would think that just dancing in front of people wouldn't faze her, but I suppose the crowd of strangers watching, and the desire to make the dance look good made it quite nerve-wracking.

Dakota Johnson worked hard to mitigate that terror and make sure that her performance in the film was believable. Given how long an average day is on set, you might think that the actress did her dance training on her days off. But no, she left Christian Grey's playroom and went straight to the dance floor, as she explained to Reuters,

I was filming another movie in Vancouver, the third 50 Shades movie, and I would go after work or before to train with the trainer.

All that work sounds like it was worth it too. Suspiria is one of the big horror movies to look forward to this month. The early reactions have been mixed but largely positive and our own Eric Eisenberg called it a "horrifying nightmare" that is "shockingly gorgeous."

The nature of the film actually gave Dakota Johnson more to do after the film was finished too. Before filming she needed dance training, and after production wrapped she actually needed therapy. And you thought Fifty Shades was the film she couldn't escape. But hey, at least she's got some great dance skills now.

Suspiria opens in theaters on October 26th.
